When you think of, say, California, companies like Apple and Facebook probably pop into your mind first. But when it comes to revenue, Chevron is actually the biggest player in The Golden State.
Broadview Networks used data from Hoover's to create the following graphic of the largest company (by revenue) in each US state for 2015.
It based a company's location on the state that housed its headquarters. They did not include any subsidiaries or government entities.
